AQHA CREMELLO STALLION
We are very thankful for the LORD providing us with this outstanding young cremello stallion! He is a good horse with a willing disposition and he is a 100% color producer!!!
This stallion is a "Cremello" meaning he carries two copies of the creme gene (as compared to the Palomino carrying one copy of the creme gene or the sorrel carrying no copy of that gene) and will therefore pass one copy of the creme gene to each of his offspring. He is not capable of siring a sorrel foal. His foals will all be dilute. In fact since he is a cremello, he will sire 100% Palominos from sorrel mares.
We have not tested him for "dun" but his sire is dun (dunskin). I don't see anything that makes me think dun, but since his sire carries it there is a possibility. We have seen double dilutes that carry dun ... some you can tell by looking and some you cannot... it seems to be particularly difficult to know without testing for some cremellos and perlinos. We'll wait till the dun test is completely finished - unless progeny proves he does before we test.

Notice regarding HYPP
If any of our horses have Impressive bloodlines (or any other 'known' carrying line) they are tested HYPP N/N. Therefore, you get the breeding (muscle, conformation etc) without furthering the issue of HYPP.
Sound breeding decisions will ensure the continutation of ALL outstanding bloodlines within the AQHA.
Therefore mare owners requesting breeding service from our stallions will be required to furnish HYPP test results for mares with bloodlines 'known' to carry HYPP. Test result must be N/N. No exceptions.

Docs White Hot Gun was trained by Howdy Smith Reining Horses of Texarkana, Arkansas from Feb 4, 2006 - April 14, 2007
(Feb. 2006) "Whitey" is being started under saddle by Howdy Smith (Howdy is a reining trainer and NRHA judge.) and we are looking forward to seeing how he progresses.We miss seeing him everday, but we know that he is in good hands.
(Feb. 2007) Update: Whitey is aproximately 15 hands and 900 pounds.
(April. 2007) Update: Whitey will be coming home mid April. We are looking forward to riding him and enjoying him! We will be breeding some mares to him for the 2008 foaling season. Howdy took him through the Cowboy Extreme Challenge course on the 15th and he did just great! (He had a 'ball' with the horse soccer ball, went through the pond, jousted/jumped, drug, crossed the creek and bridge... the whole nine yards - for his first time on the course.) We might just take him back and enter the Challenge!!!
Howdy thinks he might have barrel horse potential... you can't tire him out! He has a longer stride than most western pleasure horses.
(I'm thinking perhaps trail and endurance too.)
